Cookie Policy
How Schedula uses cookies and similar technologies.
This Cookie Policy explains how Schedula uses cookies, local storage, service-worker caches, and similar storage technologies on the platform. Today the platform uses only strictly necessary cookies and an offline cache; analytics and marketing categories are placeholders for future use.
2. Categories we use
We organise storage into three categories:
Strictly necessary
Required for authentication and to keep you signed in. Includes the NextAuth session cookie, CSRF tokens, and the service-worker cache that powers offline access. These cannot be turned off — disabling them prevents the app from working.
Analytics
Off by default. Currently unused — reserved for product analytics if and when introduced. No analytics SDK loads without explicit consent.
Marketing
Off by default. Currently unused — reserved for future marketing-attribution tooling. No marketing SDK loads without explicit consent.
3. Managing your preferences
You can review and change your cookie preferences from the cookie banner once it is shipped (Phase 2 of our compliance roadmap). You can also clear cookies through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out.
4. Third-party cookies
Schedula does not currently set third-party cookies on the platform itself. Stripe, Twilio, Firebase, and Resend operate via server-to-server calls; their cookies, where applicable, are scoped to their own domains and only set when you interact directly with their interfaces.
5. Changes
We will update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
