Terms of Service

The rules of using the Schedula platform.

Version 1.0Effective May 7, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Schedula platform. By creating an account or by using Schedula on behalf of your employer, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account. Tenants are responsible for ensuring that staff onboarded by them meet the eligibility threshold required by local law.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may lock or suspend accounts that show signs of abuse, fraud, or repeated failed authentications.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Schedula to: violate the law; harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person; circumvent technical controls; reverse-engineer the platform; resell or sub-license the service without our written agreement; or upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights.

4. Customer-controlled data

Tenants own the operational data they upload — staff records, schedules, ratings, and related material. Schedula processes that data only as instructed and stores it as long as the tenant maintains an active account, plus the 30-day grace window after deletion.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Subscription fees, billing intervals, and upgrade/downgrade rules are presented at checkout and may be revised with at least 30 days' notice. Trials, refunds, and dispute handling follow the rules disclosed at the time of purchase.

6. Intellectual property

Schedula, the Schedula logo, and the platform code are owned by us. Tenants retain ownership of their data. By uploading data you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to operate the service for you.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and force-majeure events may cause brief downtime. We will publish status information when material incidents occur.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid to us by the affected tenant in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude indirect and consequential damages. Mandatory consumer protections are not affected.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach, fraud, regulatory requirement, or non-payment. On termination, the deletion and grace-window rules in our Privacy Policy apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of the contracting Schedula entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence are not affected.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify account owners of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
